Luxembourg participates at Posidonia, the international shipping trade fair at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens, 4-8 June 2018.

For the second time, Luxembourg participated with a booth at the Posidonia shipping trade fair in Athens, one of the world’s leading maritime events. The Luxembourg stand, which was co-organized by the Ministry for Economy and the "Commissariat aux affaires maritimes" as well as the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Luxembourg Maritime Cluster, was well visited as the participating companies showcased interesting products and technologies:

• EuroFlag Services is a government authorized ship manager providing vessel registration services to shipowners under the Luxembourg flag.
• Cometto is part of Faymonville Group and is a manufacturer of self-propelled trailers and shipyard transporters.
• Jan De Nul group presented its expertise in dredging, cable-laying and renewable energies.

Posidonia was a unique opportunity to promote the expertise of Luxembourg companies in the maritime sector. This year’s edition again attracted exhibitors from more than one hundred countries as well as many thousand visitors from all over the world.
