In 2013 Luxembourg will again participate with an official booth at the Monaco Yacht Show, the most prestigious pleasure boat show in the world.

From September 25 to 28 this event will again bring together about 500 major companies in the yachting sector and a hundred super- and megayachts afloat as well as an expected 30 000 professional and private visitors. Each year, the Monaco Yacht Show constitutes a unique occasion to meet top managers of yachting companies and discover the latest high technology nautical products and yachting services. During the four days of the show, over 80 events are organized by exhibitors in various venues of Monte Carlo or onboard some of the yachts.

Commercial Yachting is an integrated part of the maritime sector in Luxembourg and due to numerous business interactions with other economic sectors it fits perfectly into the economic diversification policy of the Government. This is also illustrated by the diversity of the companies participating in the Luxembourg booth. Alongside traditional maritime companies, other sectors are also represented such as financial services, communications and crafts.
