In 2012 Luxembourg will again participate with an official booth at the Monaco Yacht Show, the most prestigious pleasure boat show in the world. From September 19 to 22 this event will bring together 500 major companies in the luxury yachting and a hundred super and megayachts afloat as well as an expected 28 000 professional and private visitors.

Commercial Yachting is an integralted part of the maritime sector in Luxembourg and due to numerous business interactions with other economic sectors it fits perfectly into the economic diversification policy of the Government of Luxembourg. This is also illustrated by the diversity of the companies participating in the Luxembourg booth. Alongside traditional maritime companies (GES maritime S.A.; Luxembourg Marine Services LMS; That's It S.A., Whale international Yachting S.à r.l.), other sectors are also represented such as financial services (Banque Internationale à Luxembourg S.A.; Manaco S.A., Société Générale Bank & Trust), communications (SES Broadband Services S.A.) and crafts (Menuiserie Kraemer S.à r.l.). Visit by Minister of the Economy and Foreign trade

Luxembourg's minister of the Economy and Foreign trade, Mr. Etienne Schneider, will visit the show and participate at the traditional Luxembourg Day reception on the Luxembourg booth on September 20^th. This event will again bring together various stakeholders as well as members of the small local Luxembourgcommunity.
