A Luxembourg delegation has attended the Euromaritime/Eurowaterways show in Paris from 3 to 5 February 2015. Dedicated to the blue economy, ie the shipping and inland waterways sectors, the event brought together over 300 exhibitors and 5000 visitors.

Eight Luxembourg companies were represented on the Luxembourg national stand: Arcelor Mittal, BIM, CAE Aviation, CPPE, ICS, Jan De Nul, OPF Partners, REFERENCE Corporate. Another five Luxembourg economic actors visited Euromaritime with a delegation from the Chambre de Commerce: Apateq, BRS International, the Cluster for Logistics, Europartner et Thalocea).

On 4 February, a cocktail reception, organized at the Luxembourg stand, assembled many guests, both from Luxembourg and abroad.

Important visitors at the Luxembourg booth included: Mister Karmenu Vella, European Commissioner Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Mrs Gesine Meißner, MEP, M. Alain Vidalies, Secretary of State in charge of Transports, Sea and Fisheries (France), as well as His Excellency Paul Duhr, Luxembourg Ambassador in France.

Various thematic conferences punctuated the show, giving the Luxembourg exhibitors a privileged platform and maximum visibility.
