The national legislation is only available in French.

However, unofficial English translations of the following texts are available:

• Maritime Act of 1990
• Technical Regulations applicable to commercial cruise ships under 24 meters in length
• Technical Regulations applicable to ships of 24 meters length or above, displacing less than 500 tons and carrying a maximum of 12 passengers
• The ILO Maritime Labor Convention, 2006 is available here.
